Atlus has just released a brand new gameplay trailer for their upcoming RPG *takes a deep breath* Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers *exhales*. The first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG combines both cyberpunk and gothic horror set in an alternate future where technology and otherworldly forces come face to face with each other.
Soul Hackers tells the story of Amami City, a beacon of humanity’s triumph of technology, but with an infernal secret. In this would-be utopia, a group of hackers takes on a centuries-old mystic society, and battles for control over humanity’s fate.
Take a look at the gameplay trailer which gives a quick look of what players can expect as they explore the dark secrets found in Amami City. While you can certainly kill your fair share of demons in the game, you will find yourself often negotiating with them instead as they will be necessary to fulfill team roles in battle.
