simcity-to-return-in-2013-1

We know that SimCity has been having a very difficult time getting SimCity to all the people that want to play it. Earlier today, they disabled the leaderboards, achievements and region filters of the game to reduce the server load. This was designed to give the engineers more leeway with patching the game. However, the move has not been working very well and now Amazon has stopped selling the product.

At the top of the product page on Amazon, the product’s status now says unavailable. As for the reason, it says “Many customers are having issues connecting to the “SimCity” servers. EA is actively working to resolve these issues, but at this time we do not know when the issue will be fixed. Please visit https://help.ea.com/en/simcity/simcity for more information.”
