According to a removed post from Xbox Wire, the Xbox One does not require you to be constantly connected to the internet. This may sound like good news, but it does require an internet connection. Some games will take advantage of Microsoft’s new cloud service that compliments the One. However, if a game requires data from the cloud, an internet connection will be required even for single player campaigns.

Other details on the console include the ability for a game to be completely installed to the hard drive without the need of a disc past the initial installation. However, if the game was detected as installed on another machine, a fee will be required to activate the game. Microsoft did say that pre-owned games will be playable on the system. More details on the DRM are coming soon.

So What do you think about these developments? Does it change your mind for the console?
