The Talos 1 is a lonely place, but that hasn’t stopped the talented folks over at Arkane studios from crafting a beautiful world teeming with life, albeit alien life. Prey is a follow up to the 2006 game with the same title, however they share very little in common.
Prey lives once again and the developers behind Dishonored are taking up the helm. I was fortunate enough to get to play the first hour of Prey and it was very interesting. You can check out my truncated play through below. I talk through some of the action, while trying to steer away from most spoilers. But go ahead and see for yourself what Prey is all about.
2017 is shaping up to be an incredible year for video games and I think Prey is going to make an even stronger case for a great year. I loved nearly every aspect of it from the synth music to the engaging story. Weapons take some time getting use to, but I was assured “this isn’t your run of the mill shooter”.
Prey will be out on May 5th, 2017, so get your space suits on because this is going to be a good one.
