Satya Nadella has been named as Microsoft’s new CEO. The position was vacated by Steve Ballmer last year, but with a new year comes with a new CEO. According to the prepared statement from Microsoft: “As Satya Nadella becomes the third CEO of Microsoft, he brings a relentless drive for innovation and a spirit of collaboration to his new role. He joined Microsoft 22 years ago because he saw how clearly Microsoft empowers people to do magical things and ultimately make the world a better place.”
While we don’t know much past the announcement, here is hoping that he keeps the Xbox division strong and competitive.
