After teasing for the past 2 days Rockstar Games has finally dropped the hammer. Red Dead Redemption 2 is real and set for a Fall 2017 release. The first official trailer is set to drop on October 20th, at 11am EST.

Rockstar will seemingly keep the open world format and may take a page out of GTA Online’s book. Only a small bit of details were given, but they read

“An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”

The other bit of important news is that a date for PC was not mentioned. Much like it’s predecessor it seems like it will not be coming to PC, at least not at launch. A similar approach was taken with Grand Theft Auto V, where the PC version came 7 months later.

What do you think? Are you ready to go back to the wild west? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to check New Gamer Nation on October 20th for any updates on Red Dead Redemption.
