Kotaku reports that Microsoft could unveil the ‘Xbox Live Companion’ which is a feature that allows users to stream some amount of Xbox 360 content onto tablets, smart phones and other devices. Devices that have Android, iOS and Windows equipped will be able to use this new service. Rumors indicate that the reveal might take place after E3. Developers would have the option to use the device as an companion to a game which would stream it in real time through Wi-Fi. It would be available on the Android and iOS marketplaces and that Xbox Live Gold members will get extra functionality not available to the public. How this would integrate with Smart Glass is still unknown.
