As someone that has been playing Counter Strike since an early age, I’ve been running through de_dust for half of my life (Half Life?).  The prospect of playing a new iteration of Counter-Strike has been on the minds of gamers since the release of Counter-Strike: Source back in 2004. It seems that day is quickly approaching. Today, Valve has announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be hitting Steam on August 21st of this year and will only cost $15, which seems like a small price to pay for a game that we all have thoroughly enjoyed for thirteen years.
