Sonic the Hedgehog needed to get back into the limelight and perhaps now is his time to shine. Sega has just announced that the next Sonic game is coming soon and it is called “Sonic Boom”. Sonic Boom is the name of the new animated series debuting later this year. This game is meant to be a tie-in to the series as Wii U and Nintendo 3DS exclusives which should be treated as an entirely new franchise.
