child of light rpg
Today Ubisoft has confirmed that their upcoming turn based RPG Child of Light will be released on April 30, 2014. While knowing an official release date is nice, getting a new trailer is definitely more appealing to the masses. Developed by a small team of veterans over at Ubisoft Montreal, Child of Light utilizes Ubisoft’s Framework engine which really brings out the beauty of original concept art and transitions it to the game world.

From the press release:

Child of Light is a reimagining of classic fairy tales, inviting players on an epic adventure into the magical painted world of Lemuria.  Players will uncover mysteries, participate in turn-by-turn combat inspired by classic JRPGs, and explore a mystical kingdom.  The game puts players in the shoes of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night.  Helped by her companion Igniculus the firefly and several unlikely allies, Aurora will face her darkest fears, including dragons and other mystical creatures in this modern take on a coming-of-age story.

Whether you want to play Child of Light for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC (via Steam), or even the Wii U you can download a copy $14.99. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
