Today, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released as a weekly series of episodic downloads, much like Telltale’s The Walking Dead. However, there will still be options to purchase the game as a whole, which gives players incentives by giving them more on-disc content than what was available via download.

Weekly Episodic download, 4 individual episodes @ $5.99 per episode
Complete Season, All 4 episodes plus additional content @ $24.99
Full Retail disc version – All 4 episodes plus additional content @ $39.99
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available across North America and Europe in Early 2015 for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
