With Metal Gear Solid Rising in the works to be released, new information on Metal Gear Solid 5 has been lifted.

Hideo Kojima has confirmed in an interview with french gaming mag IG, that the new MGS is being built with the Fox Engine . The Engine will help Kojima productions to produce multiplatform games with a reduced development time. Revealed at Konamis’ Pre E3 conference, the demo they showed was just a test demo to show off the abilities that the engine can do.

Kojima also stated that they are bringing back Solid Snake. Missing from Metal Gear Solid Rising, bringing back Snake should please the older fans.

Hideo says that this game will have a more interactive infiltration game play, using Deus Ex: Human Revolution as an example.
