News: First DLC Characters for PlayStation All-Stars Announced

by

Seth Killian (Lead Game Designer, Sony Santa Monica Studio) has revealed the first two additional characters to be joining the the ranks of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale via the PlayStation Blog.

The characters are Emmett Graves from Lightbox Interactive’s Starhawk and Kat, who stars in the PlayStation Vita title, Gravity Rush. Both characters will be free for two weeks when they are available to download next year. That might sound a little odd so allow Seth Killian to clarify:

That may sound a little tricky, so let me be clear: once Kat and Emmett are finished, we’ll put them up for download. They’ll be totally free for two weeks. The only limit is that you have a two-week window to claim the characters. Once you have Kat and Emmett, they are yours forever. That may sound like a lot to remember, so don’t worry, we’ll be back closer to their release to remind you of all these details.

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale will release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on November 20th in North America, Canada and Latin America. Most of Europe will see the game arrive on November 21st, with Australia seeing it on the 22nd and the UK and Ireland being last to get their hands on it; having to wait until November 23rd.
