Today, Microsoft’s own Major Nelson announced that two new special edition purple and black chrome Xbox 360 controllers are being released in March. However, these controllers will have limited distribution. They’ll retail for $55 and contain the transforming d-pad, however if you want the black chrome controller, you’ll have to go to Wal Mart and if you want the purple chrome controller, you’ll have to go to Best Buy. However, both controllers will be available at the Microsoft Store.
