There is a lot going on in Mystic Melee. The mode I got my hands on pitted two teams against each other, with a sphere in the middle. Put the sphere in the “hoop” score and gain a point. Sounds simple right? Well not when the opposite team is trying to kill you. Armed with basic attacks and special spell moves Mystic Melee is a frantic race from start to finish. Spells vary from a speedy dash to conjuring a rock golem, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. With an incredible amount of freedom on how to attack, Mystic Melee offers a complex game that I only scratched the surface with.
