While it may not be that big of a surprise to some, Microsoft has announced that Halo 4 is now the best-selling Microsoft Studios title ever in the U.S. Market, based on Microsoft’s retail sales data for each of their respective fiscal years. The sales for Halo 4, surpassed its predecessor Halo 3 during its fiscal launch year and took the crown.
It is no surprise that Microsoft Studios will continue to develop games in the Halo universe given that it is such a cash cow. Congrats to 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios on their success and hopefully they will continue to put out quality games in the franchise.
