Ken McCulloch, co-founder of Percursor Games, was arrested yesterday on charges of child pornography. The Ontario based man had his home raided by local police from an investigation dating back to April of 2013. McCulloch was placed into custody and his hardware was seized for investigation.

CEO Paul Caporicci responded with a message on the developer’s official forums stating, “Having just learned of these disturbing charges today and based on the serious nature of them, Ken McCulloch is no longer affiliated in any way with Precursor Games.”

Precursor Games is an indie dev made up of ex-members from Denni’s Dyack’s Silicon Knights. Their upcoming game, Shadows of the Eternals, was a spiritual successor to the much loved Gamecube classic, Eternal Darkness. Nothing has been stated on how McCulloch’s arrest will effect continuing development of the game, if at all.
