Are your ready to get your boots on the ground? Well you’ll be able to do just that on November 3rd when Call of Duty: WWII  officially launches. The annual war series will be “returning to it’s roots” by heading back to 1940’s Europe during the Second World War. Sledgehammer Games will be developing the title for the first time since Advanced Warfare. Activision also released a bombastic trailer and promised a story that focuses on individuals and a young soldier seeing his first action and not a super soldier. Check out the trailer below.

“Back to it’s roots” also means that there will be no auto healing, instead players will have to rely on med-packs and heals from teammates, something Call of Duty has made a staple since Modern Warfare. Alongside the single player, the popular Nazi zombie mode will also be returning.

Those looking to pre-order will also get a chance to jump into the private beta in the coming months before release.
