The bad news continues to roll in as Activision just announced a reduction of staff at High Moon Studios just as the production of the Deadpool game finishes. Activision released a statement to address the staff reduction:

[gn_quote style="1"]“Activision Publishing consistently works to align its costs with its revenues – this is an ongoing process. With the completion of development on Deadpool, we are taking a reduction in staff at High Moon Studios to better align our development talent against our slate,” the publisher said in a statement to Kotaku. “Approximately, 40 full-time employees will be impacted globally. We are offering those employees who are impacted outplacement counseling services.”[/gn_quote]

You probably know High Moon Studios from their work on the Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It is an unfortunate part of the business and we wish all those who lost their jobs, the best of luck.
