In an interview with Eurogamer, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has not only confirmed a fourth Pikmin game is on the way, but is “very close to completion. Back in July, Miyamoto confirmed a fourth game was in development, however the news is making the rounds now because the embargo on the interview has been lifted. Miyamoto stated the game is very close to complete, and that “Pikmin teams are always working on the next one.”
There is no word on whether Pikmin 4 will be released on the Wii U, the 3DS, or Nintendo’s upcoming console (code-named the NX).
