The controller in the picture above appears to be an actual prototype of the new PlayStation 4 controller. The photo was seemingly found by Destructoid and later confirmed by an industry source who was contacted by Kotaku.
Like the rumors suggested, there is a touch pad on the controller similar to the one on the back of the PS Vita. Unlike the rumors suggested, there appears to be no share button. It’s important to keep in mind that this is only a prototype of the PS4 controller and does not represent what the final design of the controller will ultimately be.
