Bethesda had their third E3 press conference late on Sunday night and had a night of some big announcements for the gamers. Much like EA’s recap and reaction, I’ll give a rundown of everything announced along with links to the trailers, and give you my thoughts about the show as a whole.

Doom VFR and Fallout 4 VR
The show started off with a dual announcement along with a couple trailers showcasing Bethesda’s endeavor into virtual reality. They had a trailer showing off Doom VFR and then followed it up with Fallout VR. The trailers showcased a little bit of gameplay. Nothing much else was given but the games are may be released later this year.

Creation Club
Creation Club isn’t so much a game as it was the announcement that Bethesda is bringing back paid mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The trailer mentioned using credits to buy certain creations but didn’t really delve all that deep into how it worked specifically.

Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
Next, Bethesda showed off what was next for the Elder Scrolls Online with an expansion featuring commentary from the community playing the Elder Scrolls Online. The big reveal showing off the next expansion taking the game to a familiar place in Morrowind. This was just released so if you

Elder Scrolls: Legends
The next trailer featured the card based game Elder Scrolls Legends and will feature heroes of Skyrim. This is due out June 26.

Skyrim Switch
This trailer displayed the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch and what it would feature. The Switch version of Skyrim will have motion controls and Amiibo support which will allow for your character to look like Link from the Legend of Zelda and have a few recognizable weapons.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
A trailer for the standalone adventure in the Dishonored franchise was shown. You’ll play as Billie Lurk in this chapter and you’ll be equipped with some powers to take down your enemies. This will be released September 15.

Quake Champions
With Quake coming back into the fray, the trailer showed off some of the game and put over B.J. Blazkowicz, new weapons, and maps for the arena shooter. It also announced the Quake World Championships for QuakeCon. For those interested, you can sign up for a shot at the closed Beta.

The Evil Within 2
October looks like it will have a horror game to get you into the Halloween spirit. As Detective Sebastian Castellanos, you are tasked with saving your daughter from this twisted world. The sequel will be released on Friday, October 13.

Wolfenstien II: The New Colossus
October continues to be a big month for Bethesda as Wolfenstein 2 is released on the 27th. The sequel will follow B.J. Blazkowicz as he tries to fight the Nazi regime who has taken over the world winning the second world war. Now with children on the way Blazkowicz is going to work with a few new characters to start ridding the world of Nazis. The New Colossus will be available October 27, of this year.

This conference moved quite quickly. Most of the show transitioned from each game with a video showing off different features of an amusement park called Bethesdaland… Which kinda looks like a place I’d like to visit someday. They didn’t have many of the developers talking about the game on stage, and instead just went from one trailer to the next with the Bethesda-land videos in between.

The show for me kind of started to pick up around the Evil Within because I’m not into very many of the games initially featured. Although, the Dishonored game looks like it’s going to be fun, following the game up talking about esports lost me until The Evil Within 2. Wolfenstein was probably my favorite part of the show. Though the show was run pretty late on Sunday night (9 PM Pacific), it was pretty short, and they got right into the trailers. They didn’t show any gameplay aside from the demo for Skyrim on the Switch and the VR games, but those were in trailer demos. Bethesda revealed everything through a trailer and saved everything else for the press outlets’ post shows or may have something up later.

What do you think gamers? What were your thoughts on the Bethesda conference? Was there anything that surprised you or was there anything you want to pick up from what they showed off?
