After checking out a playable prototype of 505 published, still-seeking-crowdfunding Lab Zero game Indivisible, I sat down to speak with the Design Director, Mike Zaimont.  Mike Z is a garrulous and open fellow if there ever was one, and we got the chance to discuss Lab Zero’s move away from fighting games, the narrative themes of Indivisible, and the ethos of the design team.  Not content yet, the conversation moved on to discuss working with major publishers, the sustainability of Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms, and developer transparency during the development process.  I’ve taken what was a 100 minute conversation and edited it down into a distillation of Mike Z’s thoughts and a peek behind the curtain of running a crowdfunding campaign as an independent studio.

Check it out, and as always, share your opinion in the comments!
