While the writing has been on the wall for some time now, Square Enix has decided that today was the day to reduce its work force in Europe and the UK. Square Enix started reduction talk when they announced that their games did not meet their internal expectations despite moving a ton of games. This news comes on the heels of Square Enix releasing several employees from their Los Angeles office and the resignation of Square Enix’s President Yoichi Wada.
