Looks like we should have augmented more pre-orders because Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will no longer be released in February 2016. Dues Ex was set for a February 23rd release or possibly 3 days earlier if enough pre-orders were made. Square Enix cancelled the “augment your pre-order” program in October and it is all starting to make sense. Now we will have to wait till August 23rd, 2016 to play Dues Ex: Mankind Divided.

David Anfossi took to the official Deus Ex website and said,”We’re confident and proud of the game so far. However, as we are now playing through the game in full we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards. In order to achieve this, we need to move the release of the game to August 23, 2016.”

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided seems to be having a rather rocky pre release schedule. Maybe this delay will put everything on track. How do you feel about this delay?
