Not long ago Capcom reached out to fans via Facebook looking to gain some support for a Resident Evil 2 remake. After many fans rallied behind this idea, Capcom’s R&D Division 1 will be making this zombie filled nightmare come true. Capcom and producer Yoshiaki “H” Hirabyashi released a video thanking fans for the continued support and officially announced the remake. “Thanks to your passion and support the project has finally been approved for development!”, said “H”.
