One of the bigger mysteries with the sale of THQ was, “What is going to happen to the WWE games?” For a while no one knew, but after a month we finally know what happened. WWE and Yuke’s (the developers) were allowed to dissolve their deals with THQ so they could sign with Take-Two, which agreed to bring on both Yuke’s and the THQ Fight Team (development managers and marketers) which will report to 2K Sports’ design team, Visual Concepts.. Take-Two and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have signed an exclusive, five-year licensing agreement for production of their video games. The new series will be called the WWE 2K series, and WWE 2K14, is due out this fall.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and platforms for WWE 2K14 have not yet been announced.
