After THQ filed for bankrupt earlier during the week, they partnered with Clearlake Capital to manage its assets and now it seems that the french developer Ubisoft has taken an interest in purchasing THQ. This information comes from MCV, an industrial magazine, coming from anonymous sources stating that both Ubisoft and THQ are currently in negotiations to form a deal. If successful, Ubisoft will have ownership over the intellectual property of THQ which includes Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Homefront, Red Faction and games based on WWE and Warhammer properties.
