Any Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 users looking to catch up on six solid titles that are few years old are in luck: Square Enix is releasing it’s Ultimate Action Pack and Ultimate Stealth Pack to the good old United States on March 31st, according to the dearly departed Joystiq.
The Ultimate Action Pack is a blistering triple threat of decent, conventional action adventure titles. The headliner here is 2013’s Tomb Raider, with Lara Croft given the gritty reboot treatment– Christopher Nolan style. There’s gorgeous environments and a lush, Metroidvanian world to explore.
The other two titles are Sleeping Dogs, AKA True Crime: Hong Kong, and Just Cause 2. Both of these games are open-world, but only one lets you ride on top of a jumbo jet and fire dual-wielded rocket launchers at fighter jets (hint: it’s Just Cause 2).
The Ultimate Stealth Pack comes with the fourth entry into the grand-daddy of stealth games, Thief. While failing to live up to the lofty, groundbreaking history of the franchise, there are still plenty of shadows to hide in and guards to kill.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the latest in the Deus Ex franchise, a stealth-action hybrid that equally rewards pacifistic stealth gameplay and twitch shooting. Hitman: Absolution follows the continuing adventures of the bald, pale, remarkably dressed Agent 47. Expect disguises, piano wire stealth kills, and sunburn.
These two packs are already out in Europe, and will retail at $30 a piece when they drop on March 31st.
