Total War: Rome 2 Extended Game Play Demo

Creative Assembly has released another game play demo for the upcoming title ‘Total War: Rome 2.

This particular extended game play demo walks fans through the prologue, which also doubles as a tutorial for newcomers, complete with developer commentary on new features and changes coming to the Total War series. PC Gamer’s ‘Evan’ and ‘T.J.’ interviewed Creative Assembly’s ‘Al Bickham’ during the demo and gave fans  a more in-depth look at the game play of Total War: Rome 2. Mr. Bickham also talks briefly about the new features coming in the new title, specifically the politics aspect, and samples some of the real time battles that players will experience.

Total War: Rome 2 is the eighth installment of the massively popular turn-based/real time strategy hybrid  series and is one of the most anticipated games of 2013. The game will be available on the 3rd of September and can be pre-ordered from Steam for $59.95 which includes a pre-order ‘Culture pack’ bonus that adds news units and three new playable factions to the core game.
