Today, Kenji Inafune and his team reached out to its Kickstarter backers and announced that The Mighty Number 9 is going to miss its initial release window. The game was originally scheduled for April 2015, but the new date is September 2015. Comcept has also announced that they will be working with Deep Silver to publish the game and with a new publisher comes some free DLC (a new boss and a new stage) and more language support.
