final fantasy xv (FFXV) e3

By now you may or may not have already heard that Square Enix mixed things up a bit by changing Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV and saw the trailer from Sony’s E3 press conference and while everyone loves watching cinematic scenes, seeing actual gameplay footage provides that extra “umph” to get you going.

Well Square Enix has released an all new trailer showing off in-game footage at their “Future of Final Fantasy” event at E3. The main thing that sticks out is that this is the first time in the series that real-time combat is being utilized.

The armed forces of Niflheim launch a devastating assault upon the Kingdom of Lucis, casting Crown Prince Noctis and his comrades out of their homes and into the fray. The engaging tale to follow draws audiences into an awe-inspiring world steeped in the rich storytelling traditions of Square Enix’s renowned First Production Development Team.

In case you haven’t made up your mind about which next generation console to pick up yet, have no fear as Final Fantasy XV will be released for both the PS4 and the XBox One. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.
