Today, Sony announced that they will be adding an additional $200 million dollars in losses to its quarterly earnings report bringing the total to $1.2 billion dollars in losses. This is a staggeringly large loss for Sony and comes after Sony originally projected a $489 million dollars in profit the last fiscal year. Sony blamed the loss on exiting the PC market and end of its VAIO line of products.
