I spent a good amount of hours messing around with Roller Coaster Tycoon back in the day.  Messing around is the operative phrase here – I never really got too into the micromanagement aspects, but found endless fascination in the cathartic sadism of subjecting computer people to rides that, uh, couldn’t quite pass inspection.  It’s been years since a proper RCT release now, and games like Screamride haven’t quite filled the hole in my black, black heart.

After a decent length demo in a nice, PAX plague-free hotel room, I got the chance to interview Matt Labunka, Executive Producer on Roller Coaster Tycoon World, about the choice to bring back the series, using Unity as a modding engine, and the plans for Steam Workshop support.

Are you looking forward to the reboot of the classic series? Give the interview a watch and let us know in the comments.
