Rockstar has come forward today and stated that if you lost any characters you created while playing GTA online, they are unfortunately gone for good. Rockstar is giving all players $500,000 of in-game currency to “help you get back on your feet.” While this comes at a disappointment for fans, Rockstar has announced that more fixes are coming next week which includes a fix for the vanishing car bug. New GTA Online content like Heists are also in the works. Rockstar said it hopes to have news about release timing for this content in the near future.
