The biggest baddie in the Zelda universe is coming to Hyrule Warriors as a playable character. According to the game’s website, Ganon will ship as part of the Boss Pack. This content drop is $2.99 and is available March 12th.

Along with Ganon, players will receive access to the Boss Challenge. This mode pits Link and friends against giant bosses in “relentless battles.” New costumes for Link, Zelda, and Lana are up for grabs as reward for completing this mode. New costumes for Ganon and Cia will also be available for unlock, but through unspecified means.

The Boss Pack seems to be the last of four DLC packs planned for Hyrule Warriors. The previous three were all based around different Legend of Zelda games, adding everything from Epona and Midna to Tingle. A season pass is available for $19.99 and includes the exclusive Dark Link costume.

Hyrule Warriors is the product of an odd partnership between Koei Tecmo and Nintendo. Koei Tecmo is best known for their Dynasty Warriors series, which feature massive battles and absolutely no green pajamas or fairies. Despite the odd pairing, Hyrule Warriors was a decent hit for the otherwise stale Dynasty Warriors track record.
