If you like your games spooky then look no further than 2013’s Outlast. Set in an asylum armed only with a camcorder players fumbled around in the dark and hid from grotesque beings. While it may be one of the scariest games in recent memory, developer Red Barrel Games plans to up the ante in the sequel. “Outlast 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.” Said co-founder David Chateauneuf.

Red Barrel Games released a short teaser trailer confirming the return of the series.

Outlast 2 is only described as “…a twisted new journey into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets”. Set in a new area with new characters Outlast 2 will hopefully evolve the run and hide simulators that have grown popular in the last few years. Outlast 2 will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Fall 2016.

Let us know if Outlast scared the pants off you in the comments below. I set it down after about 2 hours, because the night vision hurt my eyes…. yeah lets go with that.
