Nintendo on your iPhone?

by

Nintendo has steadfastly resisted licensing their gaming characters for use on non-Nintendo hardware. However, today Nintendo has released its Pokémon Pokedex for iOS devices across Europe and the United States. For $2.00, and $5.99 for each upgrade pack, gamers can access the information of over 600 Pokémon whenever it’s needed. Could this be the first huge step in Nintendo letting go of their fully exclusive line up for use on other devices? We can’t know for sure, but we can hope for a future where Mario can be played on your iOS device.
