Atlus today announced that Persona 4 is going to get an HD upgrade. In addition to the upgrade, they are going to release the new version on the Playstation Vita system. The upgrade will include new HD graphics that take full advantage of the Vita’s processing power. There is also 1.5x more dialogue than in the original version, giving this game more spoken scenes. Finally, this title will have a multiplayer feature that allows you to call your friends into battle if you need the help.

As if the technical upgrades weren’t enough there is a lot more content added to this package.  New content, new Personas to collect, new story events along with an all-new character, stunning new anime cutscenes, which include a new opening animation with a new song from master composer Shoji Meguro, a host of fan suggested tweaks and changes, are just some of the new things you can look forward to.

As far as JRPG’s are concerned, this is one of the best so gamers can now take this game on the go. There is literally thousands of hours of gameplay so this makes this title perfect for a handheld system. Look for Persona 4 Golden to hit the Playstation Vita this fall!
