OnLive was a revolutionary way to watch gameplay outside of Let's Plays or going to a friend's home who happens to have the game. The technology had a great layout and look and feel for those who wanted to watch gameplay from their homes. OnLive was one of a kind.
Microsoft is known for lackluster acquisitions and innovations such as Skype and Windows Phone. However, their video game division has been quite profitable and influential this generation.
