Rumored for the past month or so, the reports are now official as earlier today Nintendo has announced a net loss of 43.2bn yen ($533m; £329m) for the past year. While the company expects to return a profit this year, Apple is being said to be the largest part of the blame for the dent in sales. The Nintendo 3DS hasn’t sold as well as expected for the company, but with a planned price drop for the handheld, along with the expected release later this year of their new console called the Wii U, hopes are high for a return to form for Nintendo.
