The game is a wuxia inspired MMO, consisting of using the number key to combo using 10 moves, with 300-500 moves to choose from all done from actual Martial Arts mo cap. The game is made by Chinese company Snail Games.
The Community and Customer Service Manager stated that Age of Wushu was going to take a stand with its MMO- there would not be a money grab. There are no unlockable or purchasable items. Everything is on a level playing field in the game. There is also no subscription fee.
