Netflix Social Lets You Share What You’ve Watched With Facebook Friends

Your favorite Netflix apps are getting a Facebook sharing option today that’ll let your Facebook friends see what you’ve been watching.  The sharing isn’t automatically enabled, but if you want to check it out you can turn it on through the social settings panel in “Your Account.”  You’ll get access to two social rows, “Friends’ Favorites” and “Watched by your friends.”  You’ll also be able to select which movies you want to share, so if all you do is watch terrible movies no one has to know.

It seems like a pretty cool feature, but this is only the beginning.  Currently it doesn’t look like there’s a way to choose which friends you want to share your movies with.  But on their official page they hinted at that being something we might see in the future.  I’m sure the social aspect of Netflix will continue to grow.  Hopefully, at the very least, it’ll make the daunting task of deciding what you want to watch easier!
