If you were one of the many consumers complaining that Microsoft was including the Kinect with new Xbox One purchases, you may be happy to know that Microsoft is officially abandoning the premise. On June 9th, all markets where Xbox One is sold can purchase the Kinect-less console from Microsoft for $399, while a standalone Kinect will be offered in the fall.
