Ever wanted to build virtually anything in LEGOS? Well TT Games has announced and simultaneously released LEGO Worlds on Steam early access. LEGO Worlds is an open world sandbox game, which allows players to build, explore, and discover. Building tools will be available, giving creators full control over their masterpieces. Procedurally generated worlds also exist and can be altered at anytime using a terraforming tool.

According to a press release,” In Lego Worlds, players have the freedom to alter procedurally generated worlds and create anything they can imagine one brick at a time, or use prefabricated structures to customize their environments.” They also released a trailer which you can find below.

No full release date was announced, but “The current plan for LEGO Worlds is to be in Early Access through 2015 at which point we hope to have our full list of features in place. We’ll evaluate a release candidate in early 2016, but we won’t consider the game complete and ready for release until we believe our community feels we have delivered a great game.” LEGO Worlds is available now on Steam Early Access for $14.99 which includes more details.

With Minecraft being as popular as it is, LEGO may have found a product even bigger. Let us know if you’ll be creating in LEGO Worlds in the comments below.
