Over the weekend, reports of WWE legend Hulk Hogan making racial slurs in a tirade landed him in hot water which lead to his release from the WWE. Now, Hogan has been removed from the official roster of the upcoming WWE 2K16. 2K said in a statement, “We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly. We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16.”

Following the reports, WWE has removed all Hulk Hogan related articles, pictures, and merchandise from their website as the company is doing its best to separate themselves from the issue. Due to the creation community, created Hogan models may still make their way online once the game is released should 2K keep Hogan’s moves in the game.
