No one can ever claim again that they want to be “the ESPN of Esports”, because ESPN has officially launched their own section of Esports related content. ESPN currently has main sections for League of Legends, Dota 2, and Hearthstone. It is unsure if more games will be covered, but only time will tell. Coverage includes analysis, news, and even some help to those new to the scene.

ESPN has dabbled in the Esports scene before, even televising Heroes of the Storm on ESPN 2. While that was met with mixed reactions it was an important step to test the waters. Check out ESPN’s Esports page here.

What do you think? Is ESPN just trying to hop on the Esports gravy train or are they legitimizing Esports? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to keep it locked to New Gamer Nation for all your gaming updates.
