Back in the 1980’s the novel The Heroic Legend of Arslan was adapted to both manga and anime a bunch of times. In 2013 the manga series was got a release by the great Hiromu Arakawa (creator of Fullmetal Alchemist). Today, Koei Tecmo Europe has announced that Arslan will be making its way to the video game world in the form of Arslan: The Warriors of Legend. The game adaptation is set to blend the fast paced tactical action gameplay that the Warriors franchise is known for with an engaging narrative. The graphics will be cell-shaded and all character designs are based on the anime series.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend is set for release in early 2016 on the PS4, Xbox One, and will also be available digitally on the PS3. Check out the plethora of screenshots along with the announcement trailer below and make sure to let us know what you think!
