Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Heroes is on its way West later this year. The game is coming out in Japan tomorrow, but this marks the first time the franchise is coming to the PlayStation 4 and the first entry of the series on a Sony platform in a while.

The game will be exclusive to the PS4, and it will be released both as a retail disc and a digital download. Pricing information was not available at announcement. However, we did get some preliminary information about the game and it appears to be a game similar to the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

The game was co-developed by Square Enix, Omega Force, and Koei Tecmo.
