Back during E3, Capcom captivated gamers everywhere with the showing of Deep Down. Since then we’ve heard nothing more about the game which is rarely a good sign. Speculation started to turn towards cancellation, but producer Yoshinori Ono has come forward and confirmed that Deep Down is still alive, but it is going to look a lot different than we remember. During a recent interview, Ono said

“It also looks like some people are starting to ask ‘did the development come to a halt?’ but it’s nothing like that. We’re thinking about showing something that looks completely different from what previously shown, although it might be a while from now.”

So what do you think of the news? Are you upset that Deep Down is going to take a long time to come out and look way different than it did?
